Rock Bar, Bali

The second day we went to Rock Bar. When I saw this place at their website, I was so in love with it. So in love with it til I had a really high expectation for it. And as usual, expectation leads to disappointment. Well I wasn't really disappointed, just the fact that I thought this place would be a high-class bar, where everyone would dress up fabulously. Because it even says there on the website you're not allowed to wear slippers and theres like a dress code and all. But yeah, when I went there, most people were dressed up like as if they are going to the beach!! I was not overdressed, everyone else was just simply underdressed. HAH!!

The drinks were good according to my friends, since I don't drink alcohol. Was suppose to watch sunset over there but as you can see from the last picture, it was really cloudy and dark. And my friends didn't enjoy the place as much as well so we all decided to go somewhere else.

On the Rock Bar website, it says there "360 degrees of sheer glamour on the rock". Unfortunately, you have to be the hotel guest in order to sit at the top of the cliff to enjoy the "360 degrees of sheer glamour on the rock". If you just wanna walk-in and you wanna sit near the cliff, you will be splashed!! Hahah. Because you will be seated at the lower level of the cliff.  

An advice for the ladies, if you wanna wear heels to go to this place, DONT!! Cause you will have to go through hundreds of steps, and certain parts of the bar are literally beach sand. I would say Rock Bar is kinda overrated. I do kinda like this place, but I don't love it. 

I would rate Rock Bar: 6.3/10.
