New Year's Eve Essentials
OMG!!! 2014 is coming to an end in just a few hours, time flies… I have been through so many things in 2014, made new friends, lost few friends, completed my degree etc. I hope 2015 will be a fresh new beginning to me, and also everyone else. I will remember all the lessons that 2014 taught me, all the love I get from the loved ones I will cherish it, and all the money that I have spent on shopping, rest in peace. Lol.
So, to the ladies that are going to party hard tonight on New Year Eve's, have you guys thought about what you're going to wear? Like hell yeah!! Obviously we need at least 48 hours prior to the event to finalize everything that we are going to wear don't we? And usually, I need at least two weeks to figure out what I'm going to wear for any event and buy it, I'm organized like that. If only I could apply this to my assignment submission deadlines.
ANYWAY…… These are sort of my New Year's Eve essentials.
First of all, I always like to do my hair first before putting on my make up. So, after the hair-do-oh-oh, I usually put moisturizer and this Clinique sunblock cream instead of foundation. Why? Well to me, it gives a more natural look rather than looking like a fake nunu doll with 1-inch of foundation. Try it, its awesome.
However, if I am having a really bad FACE day (pms-ing)… You know what I mean (pimple attack), I will use my Chanel mineral foundation, and Chanel concealer to cover up the dots and also the dark circles. And just put a final touch up with my Mac mineral compact powder with a brush. Yes, brush!! After that, applying a lil bit of bronzer onto the cheeks, and a bit on the chin. Fortunately for tonight, I won't be needing the foundation, YAY!!
Now, the eyes. It is IMPORTANT to use a waterproof mascara ladies!! You don't wanna look like someone who is crying over a guy on New Year's Eve do you? No. Tonight I'm going for a smokey-eye make up, matches well with my outfit.
For tonight I will be using my Prada clutch, so cute!! Make sure its small enough so it is easy to carry around but not too small til you can't fit anything. Really do not understand why some of my friends like to bring such big clutches! Hahah. Oh and when you're on the dance floor and all, it would be more convenient if your clutch has an adjustable strap. And yes, mine does, in the box. =) Don't wanna be carrying that bag around on the dance floor, cause we all know at the end of the day your man is the one that'll be carrying your bag, which is a big NO NO!!
Lastly, ahhhh perfume. One of my MAIN essential. Tonight I will be using one of my fav, Midnight Romance by Ralph Lauren. And yes, it would be more awesome if you could carry around your perfume during the event. Every girl should know this by now, you know those small spray samples? Use that!! Empty the bottle, wash it obviously to clear out the initial smell, and fill it up with YOUR perfume. That way, you can just put it in your clutch and puff puff anytime you need it. =)
Oh wait, LIPSTICK!! Please ladies, bring your lipstick along!! You do not wanna ask a stranger in the toilet who is fixing her make up to borrow her lipstick, cause that is just nasty (sorry).
And THIS, is my outfit for tonight's party. It is a Masquerade Ball, just a simple blue dress, a black mask, etc. I really hope I can do a photoshoot regarding this outfit though.
Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! xx
